Rick Duong

Rick Duong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and product management across notable technology companies. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development and Partner Engineering at GitHub since 2019, Duong has led the Technology Partnership and Engineering organization and played a pivotal role in launching Copilot, introducing AI pair programming to the industry. Previously, at Unity Technologies from 2018 to 2019, Duong forged significant partnerships within computer gaming and virtual reality. At Amazon, Duong's leadership in product management resulted in substantial sales growth in reordering and subscriptions. As a Director at WideOrbit, Duong oversaw teams that dramatically increased ad spend and inventory. During time at SMART Technologies, Duong contributed to the award-winning Smart kapp solution, and at Microsoft, Duong was instrumental in developing key products and programs, including the Surface Hub. Rick Duong holds a Master’s Degree in Business from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
