Rogan Ferguson

Rogan Ferguson is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in product management and software engineering. Currently serving as Director of Product at GitHub since July 2020, Rogan has held various roles including Staff Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. Prior experience includes a series of positions at Microsoft from April 2014 to July 2020, where Rogan advanced from Program Manager to Senior Program Manager. Early career roles encompass a Microsoft Student Partner role at the University of Ottawa, an internship as a Program Manager focused on Team Foundation Service, and a Student Technical Analyst position at IBM. An initial foray into software engineering was made at Defense Research and Development Canada, contributing to innovative projects in space systems. Rogan holds a BSc Honors in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, obtained in 2013.
