Shayne Burgess is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in cloud solutions and software development. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at GitHub for the Enterprise Server and previously as Staff Engineering Manager for GitHub Codespaces, Shayne has a strong background in managing engineering teams and delivering successful products. Prior experience includes roles at Microsoft, where Shayne held multiple positions including Engineering Manager for Apache NiFi on Azure and Principal Engineering Manager for the Azure Customer Advisory Team, focused on customer success and platform improvement. Additional roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and earlier positions at Microsoft highlight a deep expertise in cloud technology and agile methodologies.
