Thabani Dhlakama

Thabani Dhlakama is a highly experienced professional in biomedical engineering and technical program management. Currently serving as a Staff Technical Program Manager at GitHub since November 2025, Thabani previously held various positions at Ancera, culminating in the role of Manager, Systems Integration, after progressing from Senior Biomedical Engineer to Biomedical Engineer III. Earlier roles include Quality & Regulatory Manager at Dr CADx and Analyst in Access to Diagnostics and Medicines at Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. Thabani's career began at Yale University, where experiences ranged from Operations Assistant to multiple positions supporting the Office for International Students and Scholars. Thabani holds a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University and a certificate in Deep Learning for AI and Computer Vision from MIT Professional Education.
