Tilmann Scheller is currently the Director of the Copilot Agent Platform at GitHub, a role they have held since 2024, after serving as a Staff Software Engineering Manager for the Copilot IDE from 2022. Previously, Tilmann gained experience as a Senior LLVM/Clang Compiler Engineer at Red Hat and held various engineering positions at NVIDIA, Apple, Samsung Electronics, and mental images. They started their career at IBM as a working student and intern in the Linux on Cell team.
