Currently serving as SVP of Design & Research at GitHub and VP of CoreAI Design at Microsoft, Tim has previously held prominent roles such as VP of Global Head of Design and Research at Instacart, and VP of Design at Airbnb. Tim's career also includes significant contributions as Executive Creative Director at Amazon, where leadership shaped product design for initiatives like Echo and Kindle, and as SVP at R/GA, overseeing a global team in experience design. Additional experience includes teaching at the School of Visual Arts and notable positions at Adobe and IBM, where Tim drove user experience and product design efforts. Tim holds a Master of Industrial Design and a Bachelor of Art and Design from North Carolina State University.
