Eric Amodio has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering field. Eric began their career in 1997 as a Software Developer at DAC Systems. In 1998, they moved to Artisoft, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2003, they founded Bettasoft, a software company focused on creating high quality software to increase user productivity. Eric was solely responsible for all aspects of the business. In 2006, they joined Vertical Communications as a Software Architect and Principal Lead Engineer, where they worked on ViewPoint, an n-tier desktop call management application. In 2009, they moved to 211me as the Director of Engineering. In 2010, they joined ion interactive as the VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering, and in 2017 they became the VP of Engineering at ScribbleLive. In 2018, they joined CodeStream, Inc. as the VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering. In 2019, they moved to Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer and in 2021 they became the Chief Technology Officer at GitKraken.
Eric Amodio attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a Computer Science Specialization.
