James Pitts

James Pitts has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. James began their career in 1996 as a Software Developer at DataMirror Corporation. James then moved to Ivara Corporation in 2000 as a Senior Framework Developer. In 2001, they joined Embarcadero Technologies as CTO, VP of Software Development and Program Management. In 2016, they founded BitModern and served as its CTO. James also worked as an Advisor & Consultant for James Pitts Freelance from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as an Operating Advisor for Lansweeper and as an Enterprise Architect for Abstrakt. From 2020 to 2021, they were an Operating Executive at GitKraken and Resurgens Technology Partners. James is currently an Operating Executive at Superna.

James Pitts attended the University of Waterloo from 1991 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science.
