John Nelson

John Nelson has worked in the tech industry since 2003. John began their career at C&D Zodiac as an IT Support Technician, where they were responsible for daily hardware and software support to computer users, as well as database development and support. In 2007, they began working as a Freelance Web Developer for Stine Game Tables, where they updated existing site's HTML/CSS and occasionally built Flash/Flex apps. In 2009, they joined Point Loma Nazarene University as a Web Developer, where they built Flash/Flex apps and helped users get comfortable with the university's CMS. In 2013, they joined Skuid as a Solutions Engineer, where they were part of the team developing Skuid and responsible for most of what ended up on the web for Skuid. John then became a Solutions Architect and Senior Solutions Engineer, where they were responsible for pre-sales and customer solution development and addressing complex development scenarios. In 2020, they joined Fulcrum as a Product Manager, where they shepherded the overhaul of Fulcrum's product usage analytics stack and identified and removed friction points from the most critical user paths. John is currently employed at GitKraken as a Product Manager.

John Nelson attended The Art Institute of California - San Diego from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's of Science in Web Design and Interactive Media.
