Keith Daulton has over 15 years of professional work experience. In 2005, they began as a Senior Web Graphics Designer for TracFone Wireless, where they were the hands-on IT team lead for all projects requiring UI/UX design and development with teams of up to 6 people. Keith spearheaded the inception of a shortened web release cycle for low-risk, marketing content updates and reduced front-end development time by consolidating 6 legacy websites into a single, unbranded website base with CSS-based skins and CMS-driven content.
In 2008, they founded DScripted Toolkit for JavaScript, an open-source JavaScript library on SourceForge, to simplify common UI development problems. In 2009, they became a UX Engineer and Co-Founder of ROJO Solutions, LLC, responsible for UX/UI design and front-end development.
In 2010, Keith became a Web Developer for Spirit Airlines, where they were brought on to modernize their old and outdated flight booking experience. Within 9 months, they had restructured the entire website's markup and styles, resulting in a modular, easy to implement, set of reusable interface patterns and JavaScript modules. Keith also acted as a hands-on lead for a scrum team of 4 front-end developers in Florida, Utah and India to convert flight booking to vacation packaging.
In 2012, they joined ion interactive, a ScribbleLive solution, as a Javascript Developer for both Engineering and Creative Services & Marketing Technology. Keith created new authoring tools and UI components for their web-based page editor, increased their competitive advantages over other products, and trained and mentored teammates on best practices and new technologies for front-end development.
In 2016, Keith became a Lead Member of Technical Staff - Front End for athenahealth. Keith was a management-level, individual-contributor brought on to help scale up their tools, systems and patterns for UI development and design systems. Keith was also a charter member of the Design System Engineering team and the Design System Northstar project.
In 2017, they returned to ion interactive, a Rock Content solution, as a Senior Front End Engineer. Keith was responsible for hands-on front-end development lead for SaaS platforms that enable marketers to design, build and launch responsive, embed-friendly interactive content without code knowledge.
In 2019, Keith joined Chewy as a Software Engineer III - Design Technology, a management-level IC on the Design Operations team tasked with bridging the gap between design and engineering and to grow their team's skillset as well as the front-end culture at Chewy.
Finally, in 2022, Keith joined GitKraken as a Senior Software Engineer II, a maintainer of the GitLens extension for Visual Studio Code. GitLens is the most popular Git extension on the Visual Studio Marketplace with over 20 million installs.

Keith Daulton received a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts and Animation from The Art Institutes between 1998 and 2001. Keith also has two additional certifications, one in Oracle Content Server 10g - Customization obtained in February 2009, and one in Oracle Content Server 10g - Administration obtained in September 2008.
