Adam Cohen

Adam Cohen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, particularly in security tools and identity management solutions. Currently serving as a Staff Backend Engineer in the Secure team at GitLab Inc. since July 2019, Adam focuses on developing security tools using Golang. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at OneMarket, where identity management solutions were implemented with a tech stack including Golang, gRPC, Node.js, Postgres, Ruby on Rails, and Google Cloud Spanner. Adam also contributed to the development of payment gateway and identity management microservices at Westfield Retail Solutions, utilizing Ruby on Rails and integrating with payment processors like Spreedly and Stripe. Adam holds an Honours BSc in Computer Science - Software Engineering from the University of Toronto.
