Alexander Groleau

Alexander Groleau is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering management, software development, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Security Engineer at GitLab since March 2019, Alexander also founded Haven.coop, a privacy-focused social network, and Seedom, an Ethereum-based decentralized application for altruistic causes. Additional roles include volunteering as Secretary for Castleberry Point Lofts and leading Team Palm Tree LLC, known for its open-source cloud radio automation platform, CloudCast. Prior to these ventures, Alexander worked as a Software Engineer at Salesforce.com, focusing on marketing automation, and held various positions, including Solution Architect and Software Engineer at NCR Corporation and Radiant Systems. Alexander holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned from 2004 to 2008.
