Ali Alshami

Ali AlShami is a seasoned professional in regional management and sales, currently serving as the Regional Director for GitLab in Saudi Arabia since October 2023. Prior to this role, Ali held the position of Regional Director for the Middle East at Confluent from July 2022 to October 2023. From February 2012 to June 2022, Ali worked at Red Hat, initially as a Regional Manager for MENA Enterprise Sales, while also managing operations as the Country Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Ali's career began at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where various sales roles were held from July 2009 to January 2012. Ali earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah from 2005 to 2009.
