Alphonsus Tan

Alphonsus Tan is a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Head of Commercial Sales for Asia Pacific at GitLab since September 2022. In this role, Alphonsus is responsible for driving growth and leadership within the Commercial business across the region, as well as managing commercial account executives and establishing go-to-market strategies. Previously, Alphonsus held significant positions at Red Hat, Jitterbit, Bluewolf (an IBM Company), and IBM, demonstrating a strong track record in account management, sales strategy, and business development. Additionally, Alphonsus contributes to the industry by mentoring aspiring SaaS sales professionals at LaunchPad Academy. Educated at Swinburne University of Technology, Alphonsus holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and Finance.
