Andras Herczeg

Andras Herczeg is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at GitLab since December 2021, with prior experience as a Senior and Backend Engineer at the same company. Before joining GitLab, Andras worked as a Software Engineer at CGI Nederland and bol.com. Early career contributions included developing an efficient smart light system at MK Illumination and creating experimental software for the Psychology Department at Lancaster University. Additional experience includes an internship focused on educational technology development for the Micro:Bit project and volunteering to teach programming fundamentals to children through Code Club. Andras holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree from Lancaster University.
