Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Edalex since August 2024, Andrew is also a member of the GitLab Core Team since February 2022. Previously, Andrew was the Chief Technology Officer and Principal Software Engineer at intelliHR from March 2015 to August 2023. Earlier career achievements include serving as a Senior Developer at BCM Partnership and a Lead PHP Developer at Palringo. Andrew started a career in software development at Itility. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Software and Electronic from the University of Leicester, completed in 2003, and attended Wilmslow High School from 1992 to 2000.
