Billy Downing

Billy Downing is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in customer success management and network engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Customer Success Manager at GitLab since September 2022, Billy previously contributed to Sterling from September 2018 to September 2022 as a Cloud Architect within the Strategic Technologies Group, focusing on integrating emerging technologies into the sales organization. Additional roles include Enterprise Architect Consultant at Vectrus, Data Center Network Engineer at LCRA, and Senior Network Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton. Billy began a career in network engineering with the United States Marine Corps, progressing from Network Engineer to Network Engineer/Systems Administrator.
