Chris Sanders

Chris Sanders currently serves as the Director of Infrastructure at GitLab, a position held since December 2025. Prior to this role, Chris spent four years as the Director of Engineering at Replicated, where leadership focused on AI development tooling adoption and product integration strategies. Chris's extensive experience includes significant positions at Canonical, where responsibilities spanned engineering management for Kubernetes products and BootStack IaaS, emphasizing product strategy and global managed services. Previous roles also include program management at Amazon Web Services, product management at Synapse Wireless, and software development management at deciBel Research. Chris began the career as an Electrical Engineer at TSC and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
