Cynthia Ng

Cynthia "Arty" Ng has extensive experience in technology and operations, currently serving as a Staff member in Strategy and Operations within the Office of the CEO at GitLab since June 2018. In this role, Cynthia has contributed to several key initiatives, including managing the OKR process for the CTO team and bridging collaboration between functional groups to enhance customer experience. Prior to GitLab, Cynthia held significant positions at various organizations, including Manager of Technology and Technical Services at New Westminster Public Library, where workflows were optimized for efficiency, and Content Coordinator at BC Libraries Cooperative, focusing on accessible content. Educationally, Cynthia holds a Master’s in Library and Information Studies, a Bachelor of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from The University of British Columbia, along with prior study in Software Engineering at Simon Fraser University.
