Dan Ward

Dan Ward serves as a Sr. Strategic Account Leader for Civilian at GitLab since August 2022, focusing on enhancing software development return through collaboration and transparency. Prior to GitLab, Dan was a Client Partner at Verizon, where responsibilities included managing communications technology and services for Federal clients. Dan also held the position of Federal Account Manager at NETSCOUT, specializing in network monitoring and application analysis, and worked as a Federal Account Executive at Varonis, focusing on data security solutions. Previous experience includes being an Enterprise Sales Representative at Spectra Logic, where Dan contributed to data storage innovations, and working as a Regional Sales Manager and Sales Representative at DLT Solutions, effectively managing sales teams and exceeding targets. Dan Ward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Communications from Virginia Tech.
