Dean Agron

Dean Agron currently serves as Product, Security Risk Management at GitLab since March 2024. Prior to this role, Dean co-founded and served as CEO of Oxeye, a company under GitLab, from October 2020 to March 2024. Dean has extensive experience in cybersecurity and strategic management, having worked as Director and Head of Strategy Group at KayHut from September 2016 to September 2020. Earlier roles include Team Lead for Global Strategic Partners Sales Engineering and Senior Sales Engineer at Imperva from August 2010 to September 2016, as well as R&D Software Engineer at both Imperva and Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. Dean began a career in technology as an Integration Engineer intern at Motorola Mobility from June 2006 to July 2007. Dean holds an M.Sc in Management Sciences with a focus on Finance-Accounting and a BSc in Computer Science, both from Tel Aviv University.
