Emily Bauman

Emily Bauman is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in user experience and visual design across multiple leading organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at GitLab since February 2021, Emily is responsible for designing features related to Deployment & Environment Management and has led significant research and design initiatives in the ModelOps and AI-Powered categories, as well as in the Release space. Prior to GitLab, Emily held roles at Capital One as Principal Product Designer and Senior User Experience Designer, where responsibilities included leading design teams, conducting research, and facilitating training for associates. Emily's career began at IBM, where design leadership was demonstrated in UX and visual projects across various products. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from Sheridan College.
