Fatima Sarah Khalid

Fatima Sarah Khalid is a seasoned Developer Evangelist at GitLab since December 2021, where contributions include engaging with the global developer community and fostering open-source collaboration. Previously, as a Developer Relations Engineer at Pantheon Platform, responsibility involved bridging the gap between developers and the platform, while distilling user feedback for workflow enhancements. Khalid's experience also includes a fellowship at Code for Canada, focusing on user research and prototyping for Transport Canada, as well as serving as a Technical Lead at Digital Echidna, overseeing full-stack development and mentoring. Earlier roles included software development with the City of Boston, civic technology work at Microsoft, and consulting on innovation at NYU. Khalid holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Computer Science from New York University, complemented by an exchange program at Hanyang University.
