Hillary Benson

Hillary Benson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and investment within the technology and security sectors. Currently serving as VP of Product Management at GitLab since June 2021, Hillary leads a globally-distributed team focused on developing security, compliance, and generative AI products. Hillary also holds the role of investor at Portfolia, supporting women-led entrepreneurial ventures. Prior experience includes leading product strategy at StackRox, where a significant growth in annual recurring revenue was achieved, as well as technical roles at Intuit and the National Security Agency. Hillary's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University, with ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University.
