Jason Plum

Jason Plum is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and packaging solutions for GitLab Inc. since 2016, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer focused on Distribution. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Software Engineer for the same team and as a Core Developer for Arch Linux ARM, where Jason was responsible for supporting new SoCs and ensuring compatibility with emerging technologies. Prior positions include Senior Software Engineer at Devon IT, where Jason managed the DeTOS distribution, and Vice President of Technical Operations at Brandywine Medical Management Services Inc., leading IT infrastructure and operations. Jason possesses a wide array of programming skills, including proficiency in C++, Perl, Python, and various other languages, and has contributed to numerous technical projects throughout a career spanning over two decades. Jason holds educational credentials from PennWest Clarion and Pequea Valley High School.
