Liam McAndrew is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in the technology and financial sectors. Currently, at GitLab Inc. since August 2018, Liam has played a pivotal role in scaling teams and implementing processes during a period of rapid growth, contributing to the company’s IPO in 2021. Previously, as Head of Engineering at Currencycloud from August 2012 to August 2018, Liam was instrumental in building the team and technology that facilitated significant funding and transaction volumes, leading to a Visa acquisition. Earlier career stages included roles as Technical Lead and Software Engineer at FX Capital Group from August 2009 to August 2012. Liam holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from City St George’s, University of London.
