Nick Leonard is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and user experience. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer at GitLab since April 2022, Nick leads design initiatives for the project management product area while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address customer needs within software development. Previously, as Director/UX Lead at Fuzzy Math from March 2011 to April 2022, Nick directed client engagements across various industries, mentored design teams, and implemented DesignOps practices. Prior roles include User Experience Designer at Sliced Bread Design and Interaction Designer for projects with GE Healthcare, where Nick contributed to the design and prototyping of healthcare tools. Nick holds a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Information Technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
