Nicole Smith

Nicole Smith is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in product and customer marketing. Currently serving as the Director of Product & Customer Marketing — Advocacy at GitLab since July 2022, Nicole previously held various roles at MURAL from July 2020 to July 2022, including Team Lead and Senior Marketing Manager for Customer Marketing and Integrated Programs. Prior experience includes positions at Salesforce as Product Marketing Manager and Senior Product Marketing Representative, and as Marketing Communications Coordinator at the SC Department of Health and Human Services. Nicole's early career involved roles at the University of South Carolina and several marketing internships. Educationally, Nicole holds a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, both from the University of South Carolina.
