Paul Phillips is an experienced engineering manager with a robust background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at GitLab since January 2023, Paul previously held the position of Software Development Manager at Amazon from September 2020 to December 2022. Prior to that, Paul was an Engineering Manager at Skyscanner between June 2014 and August 2020. Paul began a career at OLM Systems as a Development Team Manager for Systems Integration from 2002 to June 2014 and started as a Graduate Software Developer at Unisys in 2001. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde and a Postgraduate Diploma in Informatics from Glasgow Caledonian University.
