Sam Rizzo is currently the Senior Director of Public Policy at GitLab, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as Head of Global Policy Development at Zoom from 2022 to 2024 and as a Fellow in the NextGen Network: Transatlantic Initiative at The Aspen Institute in 2021-2022. Rizzo also has experience as the Director for Europe at the US Trade Representative from 2015 to 2018 and held roles at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement and the Information Technology Industry Council.
