Samuel Monderer

Samuel Monderer is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in backend development, project management, and R&D leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Backend Engineer at GitLab since March 2024, Samuel previously held senior engineering roles at Oxeye and Radware, focusing on cloud-native security and software solutions for Kubernetes. Prior to this, as an R&D Manager at Syber.ai, Samuel managed the development of an API security and analytics platform. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Vasona Networks, ADVA Optical Networking, NovelSat, and RAD Data Communications, where Samuel was responsible for innovative virtualization technologies, satellite modem design, and traffic awareness solutions. Samuel holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Tel Aviv University, an MSc in Computer Science from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Software Engineering from the Jerusalem College of Technology.
