Sarah Waldner

Sarah Waldner is a seasoned product management professional with extensive experience in leading product teams and driving innovation in security technologies. Currently serving as Director of Product Management at GitLab since April 2019, Sarah oversees the development of various security products, including SAST, DAST, and API Security. Previously, Sarah held the role of Group Manager of Product at GitLab, managing a broader portfolio that included source code management and remote development tools. Prior to GitLab, Sarah worked as a Product Manager at Splunk and VictorOps, and as a Technical Product Owner at Zayo Group, where important projects like Tranzact were developed. Sarah's early career included roles at Subsea 7 as both a Graduate Engineer and an intern, alongside academic appointments as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant during university studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder.
