Thanos Vasileiou

Thanos Vasileiou is currently a Privacy Counsel at GitLab, where they serve as a subject matter expert on global privacy and data protection matters. With over eight years of experience in privacy law, they have successfully executed numerous privacy projects and served as a Data Protection Officer. Thanos has also held positions as a Privacy Counsel at Booking.com and iCIMS, and worked at Trilateral Research, where they provided DPO support and managed client relationships. Thanos holds an LLM in Intellectual Property & Information Technology Law from Trinity College Dublin, alongside a Master's in European Literature and a Bachelor's in Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
