Vitor Meireles

Vitor Meireles possesses extensive experience in product security and application security across multiple prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Product Security at GitLab since December 2019, Vitor previously held positions such as Manager of Product Security and Senior Security Engineer at the same company. Prior to GitLab, Vitor worked at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. and HSBC Private Bank, where responsibilities spanned security architectural reviews, web application security testing, team management across regions, and project management from a security perspective. Vitor's earlier roles include contributions at Deloitte, Cambridge Technology Partners, and ADP as well as volunteer work for OWASP focused on Zed Attack Proxy development. Vitor holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Information Security from the University of Geneva and has a solid foundation in engineering from notable educational institutions in Geneva.
