Nandaja Varma

Nandaja Varma has been working in the tech industry since 2014. Nandaja started as a Software Developer for Bang the Table in 2014, then moved on to become an Associate Software Engineer for Red Hat in 2015. In 2016, they took on the role of Open Source Developer for the PeARS project. In 2017, they became a Learner at the Recurse Center. In 2018, they were promoted to Technical Lead at Quick Algorithm. In 2021, they were hired as a Kubernetes Engineer at SIGHUP, and most recently, in 2022, they were promoted to Senior Kubernetes Engineer at Gitpod.

Nandaja Varma completed their Higher Secondary education at Vivekodayam Boys' Higher Secondary School in Computer Science in 2010. Nandaja then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science at the University of Calicut, which they completed in 2014. Following this, they earned their Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2019. In 2021, they obtained a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).
