Brandon Shearrer

Brandon Shearrer has a varied work experience. Starting in 2015 as a Food Runner at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, they then worked as a Waiter at Hideaway Pizza in 2016 and a Summer Camp Counselor at Dry Gulch USA in 2017. In 2018, they worked as both a Senior Library Ambassador and Frontend Developer at Edmon Low Library and as a Community Mentor at Oklahoma State University, where they received the CM Of The Year and Jay Jones Scholarship awards. In 2019, they worked as a Chatbot Software Developer at ConocoPhillips, assembling an intelligent ChatBot with Microsoft Bot Framework and LUIS machine learning intelligence, for which they were responsible for meeting with Finance Specialist to design ChatBot dialog and conversation flow, saving the company over $2,000 in customer service and mailing costs over 6 months. Finally, in 2021 they worked as both a Software Developer II and I at Paycom and is currently working as a Software Engineer at Gitwit.

Brandon Shearrer attended Oklahoma State University from 2017 to 2021 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Minor in Management Information Systems. Brandon also achieved the Mountaineer certification from Trailhead by Salesforce in the Developer field.
