Daniel Stein is the founder and executive director of Giving Green, a climate initiative that provides research and recommendations on ways to fight climate change. Daniel is also the Chief Economist at IDinsight, where Daniel oversees impact evaluations in various sectors. Previously, Daniel worked as an Economist at The World Bank and as a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Microfinance. Daniel holds a PhD in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Political Economy of Industrialized Societies from the University of California, Berkeley.

Giving Green makes high-impact climate giving easier, for everyone. We perform rigorous research and recommend cost-effective climate initiatives, so you can give with confidence.
