Shawn Wehan

Shawn Wehan is the CEO of Givsum. Shawn was previously the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Future Leaders of Our Community (FLOC) from January 2009 to December 2017. Shawn grew FLOC membership from 0 to more than 500 in ten months. Shawn provided leadership to FLOC’s members through videos, newsletters, e-mails, social networking and interactive website - www.flocers.org. Shawn coordinated monthly meetings and designed programs to generate revenue, bring awareness and inspire new volunteers for local nonprofits.

From September 2007 to January 2009, Shawn was a Community Organizer for Orange County Congregation Community Organization where they successfully organized communities in the City of Fullerton to bring about needed policy change regarding housing, gangs, obesity prevention, homeless management and park development. Shawn was awarded an unprecedented receivership for the repair and refurbishing of a large apartment building in the City of Fullerton. Shawn also established a unique “gang task force” within the City of Fullerton to combat youth violence.

Shawn Wehan received a Master of Divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University, a BA in Communications from Seattle University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Regis University.
