We are pioneering a new way of shopping known as e-social trading that delivers a smarter and more collaborative shopping experience.

Although the service is available for use by the general public, GivU (www.givu.net) was specifically built and tailored to satisfy the shopping needs and wants of the millennial generation. To this generation of users, collaborating and engaging in the sharing economy are already the norm. Millennials have embraced the idea of community that the sharing economy is rooted in, and have a greater awareness of the environmental impacts of overconsumption compared with previous generations.

GivU has demonstrated that it is not only possible, but also practical to buy products without spending your disposable income. Allowing GivU to offer a shopping alternative where customers are able to take care of their cash flow, while still enjoying the experience of buying and improving their quality of life.
GivU is able to accomplish this because it does not operate

The GivU Experience
www.givu.net like a traditional e-commerce marketplace, rather than transacting in dollars users are required to sell a product to acquire credits known as Givs. One Giv is roughly equivalent to one USD and they are not exchangeable or transferable.

GivU is a new social e-commerce platform where users can get products they want using the products they already own.

GivU’s product catalog is built and brought to life by the community. The catalog increases as the community increases, providing a different window shopping experience every time a Giver goes into the platform. The site currently has more than 500 products that are either new or like new. This initial product offering is just the beginning of what promises to be a growing selection of technology and lifestyle products.
