Andrea Heisel

Andrea Heisel, a legal professional with extensive expertise in human rights, practiced as a lawyer from 1993 to 2000. Following that, they worked with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, where they lead projects focused on justice reforms in Mexico and improved legal access for women. They also served as project leader for the criminal law reform initiative in Paraguay and held various advisory roles, including with the Deutscher Entwicklungsdienst. Andrea earned a degree in law from Freie Universität Berlin, completing their studies in 1993.
