Carolin Kern is currently a Junior Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where they support rural development initiatives in Cameroon and agroecological transformation processes in India. They previously held roles as a Project Management Intern and have volunteered in environmental education through the weltwärts program in Nicaragua. Carolin obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organic Farming and Marketing from Fachhochschule Eberswalde and completed a Double Degree Master of Science in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture, as well as another in Organic Farming and Food Systems. Additionally, they pursued postgraduate studies in International Cooperation for Sustainable Development at Humboldt University of Berlin.
