Christophe Joly

Christophe Joly is an experienced project manager with a strong background in water resource management and sanitation. Currently serving as Project Manager at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH since January 2025, Christophe oversees EU financing, manages a project team, and develops data management systems among various other responsibilities. Previous roles include Project Manager and Program Component Manager at GIZ, focused on water supply and sanitation projects, as well as a tenure at SPGE where monitoring and optimizing wastewater treatment processes were key responsibilities. Academic qualifications include degrees in Applied Physics and Integrated Water Resources Management. Throughout the career, Christophe has demonstrated expertise in planning, coordinating projects, budget management, and capacity building in the water sector across different regions.
