Daniela Funke is currently the Country Director for GIZ in Serbia, where they focus on transforming policy into impactful development. Previously, they held the position of Senior Coordinator for Refugees and Migration across Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and Central Asia at GIZ from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, Daniela served as a Planning Expert for Administrative Reform and Public Finance, developing and evaluating various GIZ projects globally. Their experience also includes roles as a Governance Advisor in South Africa and an Advisor to the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development during their tenure with GTZ.
