Lasse Hoffmann serves as the Head of Component for the project "Charbon de Bois Durable (ChaBoDu)" within the Programme "Biodiversité et Gestion durable des Forêts (BGF)" at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH since September 2021, and previously held the position of Technical Advisor for biodiversity and sustainable forest management in RD Congo. Prior to this role, Lasse worked as a Portfolio Analyst at KfW from September 2019 to August 2021, focusing on climate and resource protection in North Africa, as well as governance, biodiversity, and health in Central Africa. Lasse completed a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Research at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2018 to 2020 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Goethe University Frankfurt (2015-2018) along with a Zwischenprüfung in Law from the same institution. Additionally, Lasse studied at Université Lumière Lyon 2 in early 2014.
