Laura Sustersic is a water resources engineer and project manager with extensive experience in sustainable development and water issues. Currently, they are working on projects in India focused on reducing river Ganges pollution and in Southern Africa supporting water infrastructure financing. Over the past 18 years, Laura has worked across Africa, Asia, and Latin America on topics including integrated basin management and climate change, while spending 10 years with GIZ to deepen their expertise in development cooperation. Their role as a consultant has also included business development and emergency response in conflict-affected areas. Laura holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and multiple advanced degrees related to water management and international environmental law.
