Maya Eckes

Maya Eckes possesses a robust background in environmental policy and international relations, demonstrated through diverse roles across various organizations. From 2017 to 2019, Maya served as an Event Assistant at adelphi, where responsibilities included organizing expert conferences on climate policy. Subsequent experiences include internships at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, focusing on climate mitigation in Rwanda, and Deutscher Bundestag, concentrating on human rights and policy research. Maya also held positions as a working student at Institut für ökologische Wirtschaftsforschung (IÖW), examining socio-ecological transformation, and at NABU e.V., coordinating a coalition of over 40 climate and energy organizations. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and participation in Erasmus programs at Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals and Univerzita Karlova, coupled with an outstanding academic record.
