Robert Schultz is an experienced project manager specializing in energy sector improvement and rural development. Since September 2016, Robert has been working with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on the Afghanistan Energy Sector Improvement Programme. Prior experience includes serving as a freelance consultant focused on rural electrification and environmental protection, as well as roles at GIZ as a Senior Advisor for EnDev Indonesia and as Energy Desk Coordinator at Desert Research Foundation Namibia. Robert's career also includes managerial positions at R3E Bureau Namibia and TERRASOL Namibia. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Management and Geography from the University of South Africa, obtained between 2005 and 2010.
