Simone Conrad has over 15 years of experience in building capacities and fostering partnerships to promote inclusive and fair societies, particularly through innovative digital policies. They served as an intern and project-related employee at Staatsministerium Baden-Württemberg's Representation to the EU from 2007 to 2008, and have held various significant roles at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, including Deputy Coordinator of the Africa D4D Hub and Advisor for Digital Development. They also contributed as an ICT Policy Officer at the European Commission and currently serve as an Advisor for Digital Governance. Simone holds a Master of Arts in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University.
