Tom Ellery

Tom Ellery has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Tom is currently working at Universal Piping Industries as an Engineering Design Manager since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Engineering CAD Manager at the same company from September 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Universal Piping Industries, Tom worked at Gallagher-Kaiser Corporation as a Project Engineer starting in September 2014.

From December 1997 to September 2014, Tom was employed at Hoyt, Brumm & Link, Inc. as a Piping Design Engineer.

In their earlier career, Tom worked as a Mechanical Designer at Peter Basso Associates from November 1993 to December 1997. Before that, they were a CAD Designer at JW Design from January 1991 to November 1993.

Tom's professional journey began at Grace Engineering, where they served as a Drafter/Detailer & Machine Operator from September 1986 to December 1990.

Tom Ellery attended St. Clair High School from 1981 to 1984, where they focused on drafting, math, and science. Following high school, they attended St. Clair County Community College from 1985 to 1987, where they pursued general studies. Tom then enrolled at Macomb County Community College from 1988 to 1990, specializing in drafting and design engineering. Finally, from 1989 to 1993, Tom attended Lawrence Technological University, majoring in architecture and construction engineering.
