Monico Ortiz

Monico Ortiz is a Senior Electrical Engineer, Board Director, and Tribal Delegate with over 20 years of experience in electrical hardware design and product development. Currently, Monico serves as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Gladiator Technologies, where responsibilities include new design and sustaining design of electrical products. In addition, Monico holds positions as an Executive Council Member for the Tlingit and Haida Indians of Alaska and as a Tribal Delegate for the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. Monico has previously worked for notable companies such as Raytheon and Blue Origin, contributing to critical aerospace and commercial projects. Monico earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
